Medias Res Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Vancouver’s Railtown District. Established in 2025, Medias Res serves as the official exhibition venue of VIVA Alliance.

Medias Res is committed to supporting visual artists at all stages of their careers and creating an inclusive, accessible space for intercultural dialogue among artists and the broader community. The gallery’s dynamic programming seeks to present diverse artistic perspectives that challenge disciplinary and cultural boundaries, offering new critical ways of looking at the world and our place in it.
Medias Res Gallery is situated on the unceded traditional territories of xÊ·mÉ™θkwÉ™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and SÉ™lÌ“ílwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
